La Rando des Marmottes

La Rando des Marmottes takes place over 2 days in 2 stages on a conventional or electrically-assisted bike.

On day 1, the 98km and 2500m ascent will take you from Bourg d’Oisans to Valloire, with the Col du Glandon and Col du Télégraphe on the programme.

After a night’s rest in Valloire (accommodation to be arranged by you and not included in the entry fee), you’ll be able to face the Col du Galibier, the Lautaret and then the final climb to Alpe d’Huez with peace of mind: 79km and 2500md+ on this second day.

Whether solo, in a group, with a club or with friends from the age of 14 (minors accompanied by an adult), the Valloire stage and the split into 2 parts for the ascent of the Col du Galibier will allow you to discover « » the course of the legendary Marmotte Granfondo Alpes.

The Rando Marmotte Alpes is two days of pure cycling pleasure, without the stress of a time trial, to enjoy the Oisans, Maurienne, Galibier and, of course, Alpe d’Huez.

It’s also an opportunity to discover the legendary route and adapt your effort in preparation for your future challenge: undertaking it in one piece over one day in cyclosportif mode.
