Here are the two main ones.
• First of all, the first novelty is actually a return to our beginnings. Indeed, in 2021, the route will pass through the Col de la Croix de Fer instead of the Col du Glandon. The main advantage will be that the flat portion in the in the Maurienne Valley is out.
• Second, the creation of a new ultra-mode. We offer the possibility to 500 participants to embark on an extreme version of the Marmotte Alpes. To do this, we offer these brave cyclists the classic route of the Marmotte Alpes with the additional ascent and descent of the Col de Sarenne, followed by a second ascent of the Alpe d’Huez. An extraordinary challenge for 40 years!
