Beautiful lesson of courage

Gary Latella (35 years old), suffering from the most serious Cystic Fibrosis disease which attacks the digestive and respiratory system, took on the challenge of finishing the Grimpée de l’Alpe as part of the LEPAPE Marmotte Granfondo Alpes 2021, next Thursday, September 2nd. 

He practices sports to fight disease and in 2019, was the 3rd person in the world in this situation to complete a Marathon. He carried the Olympic flame of the Turin Olympics in 2006 and had his first cyclosportive completed in 2019 on the Ardéchoise, where he finished at the 3rd place for disabled sports category. 

We will be wholeheartedly at Gary’s side in this challenge he is launching, and we look forward to seeing you all at the podium in the partner village of Alpe d’Huez to congrate him.
